GoThere’s analysis measures every gazetted suburb within 20 kilometres of Brisbane Central from its population-weighted centre. The public transport journey is calculated as a door-to-door trip arriving in the CBD by 9am, with the journey broken into walking, waiting and in-vehicle travel.

The car comparison uses the same origin and morning peak traffic conditions. It includes an eight-minute allowance for finding a park and walking to the destination, making the comparison door-to-door.
