Women Silent Sex For Now
Smiles for Votes

While City Council Candidates are making strenuous spoken appeals for citizens’ votes, 24 young Brisbane women are conducting a no less vigorous election campaign with smiles, art unions, raffles, fetes, parties, and other functions.

The young women are the candidates in the Miss A.I.F. competition which began on Saturday last. Each penny subscribed on their behalf will mean a vote in the contest.

The Miss A.I.F. competition is being run to swell the Patriotic Fund.
