BURLEIGH IMPROVEMENTS
Recently the Nerang Shire Council (No. 4 division) applied for a subsidised loan for the erection of a modern surf shed at Burleigh Heads, and the preparation of a bowling green, tennis and croquet lawn. II is understood that the Government is favourable to the subsidised loan for a surf shed, but with regard to the bowling green, etc., it will only approve of a Treasury loan without subsidy.
