Sir Edward Stratten Williams (29 December 1921 – 10 January 1999) was a judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland and was also the Chairman of the 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games Foundation, for which he received the Australian of the Year Award in 1982.
Sir Edward was also appointed Commissioner General for Expo ’88, and received the Queenslander of the Year award in 1983. Sir Edward was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire and later Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George.
