In 1973, Brisbane welcomed the Jackson Five for their inaugural Australian tour, marking a historic moment as the first black pop group to embark on a national tour Down Under.
Michael returned to Brisbane during his Bad World Tour on 26 November 1987, where he performed two shows, including a memorable performance with Stevie Wonder on “Bad.”
Brisbane also hosted Michael during his HIStory World Tour in 1996.
